Bicycle built for two

Today I saw a couple riding a bicycle built for two down the street. I realized that is something I have never done and would like to to do. That will be a special moment in my life, when I find someone to ride the bicycle built for two with me.

Once I find the co-rider, I wonder what the best way about getting a bike like that would be. Should we rent one? Maybe we should buy our own, so we can ride all the time. Do people that own these bikes end up riding them with other people? For example, the guys are over watching football and they need to go on an emergency beer run, maybe they'll just hop on the bike for deux and roll down to the corner store. It also could be useful for carpooling to work.

Then things could potentially spiral out of control. Next thing you know it you have a bicycle for three.... four.... five... baby seat on the back... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.

For now, I guess I'll just stick to my bicycle for one.
